This morning Dr. Thomas Schmidt(Director of med consultant GmbH) and our CEO Thomas Kumbier finalized and signed an Agreement to integrate med c. Into the K.U.M. Family.

Med c offers planning and consulting services for a wide range of geotechnical applications such as one of the most advanced vibracores in the industry.

Up to date we streamlined our processes and happy to announce we all ready startet the first production and delivery of vibrocorers within this new chapter of cooperation.

70 vibration cores in 24 hours only – best result ever !


We are proud to learn, that our customer MEWO S.A., Poland, was resently able to made 70 cores in 24 hours only. Each core length was 4 m. MEWO S.A. and the team of R/V IMOR made a great job.

The result proofs the high effiency of the design of the Vibracorer VC 3/6 (VKG).  The optimal relation of vibration, weight, sediment together with a light and easy to handle system made this result possible.

79 locations in 44 hours only!


79 cores of 3 m length in transparent polycarbonate liners were done with the vibracorer VKG(VC) 3/6 within 44 hours while working 24 hours/day on MV Cecilia (IMO 7381635).

The weather conditions during the operation at the German Bight were 2-3 m waves. Our VKG(VC) 3m system made a record breaking job!

This success story proved again the highly advanced design of our lightweight vibracorer VKG(VC) product line.
